Saatvik Green Energy IPO Launches with ₹442-465 Price Band

Saatvik Green Energy's initial public offering debuts today, pricing shares between ₹442 and ₹465. The solar panel manufacturer's IPO will remain open until September 23, with a market lot of 32 shares. Allocation is split: 50% for qualified institutional buyers, 35% for retail investors, and 15% for non-institutional participants.

The ₹900 crore offering combines a ₹700 crore fresh issue and a ₹200 crore promoter sell-off. Nearly ₹477 crore from the fresh issuance will fund a 4 GW solar PV module facility in Odisha, while ₹166 crore repays subsidiary debt. Anchor investors—including HDFC MF and SBI General Insurance—committed ₹269 crore ahead of the listing.

With existing operational capacity of 3.8 GW, Saatvik's expansion aligns with India's renewable energy push. The capital raise underscores growing institutional interest in sustainable infrastructure plays.
